our story.
Drift + Oak Yoga Studio emerged from founder Bianca Fantoni's vision to create more than just a place to practice—but an immersive sanctuary where movement and mindfulness intertwine. Nestled in the restored Medway Mills, our studio embodies the perfect balance of fluidity and strength reflected in our name.
Bianca's journey toward establishing this haven began with her own transformative experience with yoga. Following a major health scare in her teens and ongoing navigation of anxiety, she discovered in yoga a powerful ally for cultivating balance and resilience—a practice that continues to support her wellbeing today. This personal journey led to over 500 hours of specialized teacher training.
When her beloved yoga sanctuary closed—followed by a global pandemic that underscored our collective need for meaningful connection—she recognized an opportunity to create something extraordinary for the Medway community.
The studio stands as a heartfelt tribute to Bianca's grandmother Debbie (Mare), whose unwavering encouragement sparked her yoga journey. Mare's legacy of nurturing resilience infuses every aspect of our space.
At Drift + Oak, we honor the inherent wisdom of the body through practices that recognize how life experiences settle into our physical form. Our exceptional instructors—many who trained alongside Bianca—are committed to ongoing education and bring depth, authenticity, and expertise to every class. They guide each student toward authentic self-expression and renewed vitality.
Beyond our thoughtfully curated daily classes, we offer advanced Yoga Teacher Trainings and signature workshops that deepen your connection to both practice and community. Each experience at Drift + Oak is designed to engage the senses and elevate your understanding of what yoga can be.
We invite you to discover the subtle luxury of presence—where the timeless teachings of yoga illuminate the path to living with intention and grace. Your journey inward begins here, in a space where you are seen, valued, and embraced.
our founder, Bianca Fantoni.
Bianca approaches yoga with a deep respect for the body's inherent wisdom, guiding students to cultivate a meaningful relationship with their own physical experience. Her teaching emphasizes tuning into internal sensations rather than adhering to rigid external alignment, creating space for authentic movement and personal discovery.
A lifelong student, Bianca's education has been shaped by learning from respected teachers including Briohny Smith, Dice Iida-Klein, Mathieu Boldron, Andrew McGonigle, Eion Finn, Leslie Kaminoff, and Amy Matthews—each contributing to her multifaceted approach to yoga. After 11 years of dedicated practice and study, she established Drift + Oak's respected Yoga Teacher Training program, where she mentors emerging instructors with the same care and attentiveness she brings to her practice.
Beyond the studio, Bianca balances her role as founder with homeschooling her three children—a 9-year-old son and 5-year-old twin daughters. This nurturing spirit infuses everything she does, from creating nourishing experiences in the kitchen to guiding adventures with her family.
True to her intuitive nature, Bianca creates spaces where others can thrive—whether guiding students to listen to their body's messages or supporting new teachers as they discover their authentic voice. This genuine care for others defines her presence both on and off the mat.
